the movement.

Worldwide there are over 500 public cable parks. Over 50 of those are located in the the United States.

In North America alone there are over 400,000 evangelical churches.

Our mission is to inspire a M O V E M E N T where Christians globally who have a love for Jesus and a passion for wakeboarding recognize the opportunity that exists right in their backyard.

THIS IS WAKE CHURCH MOVEMENT.

A CALL TO MOVE

The call to make disciples is a direct command found in scripture. From the moment that Jesus’ identity was revealed, He began to call others to follow Him. If Christ really is who He says He is, what does it mean to actually follow Him and what does it look like to call others to do the same? We believe this call requires action. It means setting a new priority, finding your new identity, and calling/leading others to do the same. The prayer for this project is to equip and empower a new generation of disciple making, specifically within the wakeboarding community.

A CALL TO MULTIPLY

There are thousands of cable parks around the world with little-to-no Christian influence or really even positive influence for that matter at them. This movement is a call to multiply. We believe the model for Wake Church is replicable and sustainable for the majority of cable parks globally. By creating and providing free resources and ongoing content, we are working to put these resources in the hands of hundreds of new leaders that we are challenging to step out in faith to lead some form of wake ministry in their community. Our hope is to see the entire wake community globally reached with the Gospel and to have discipleship opportunities at every park, everywhere.

TOTAL AMBIGUITY

One of the main objectives with this project was to create unity between leaders, organizations, and churches by coming together in a collaborative effort to create shared resources that could be used and “owned” by any organization or ministry. Through the website, resources, and materials created you’ll find total ambiguity. Not one organization’s logo or branding, no individual credit, or ministry contact information. This is because our hope is that the resources being created can be shared, promoted, and leveraged to create a movement that impacts the world through wakeboarding.
